After purchasing the business, Daniel Besquin, the founder and managing partner, will take an executive leadership role to manage the operations. With the support of Hive’s seasoned investment team, Daniel plans to leverage his skills, passion, and dedication to sustainably grow the business.

We will become stewards of the business, protecting your legacy and taking care of your employees and customers.

We are not managing an investment portfolio, which means we will be fully dedicated to the company. We will roll up our sleeves, and take responsibility from day one!

Our team

Daniel is the founder and managing partner at Hive Capital. He is a seasoned executive with 12 years of management experience. He began his career as a marketer at Procter & Gamble, designing and executing marketing initiatives for valuable brands. Daniel developed his digital marketing expertise working at Google, where he advised clients on how to leverage digital marketing to drive business results.

Prior to founding Hive, Daniel worked at BCG Digital Ventures (part of Boston Consulting Group). At BCG DV Daniel played a critical role in launching new businesses and developing strategies to accelerate growth at new and established companies.

Daniel has a degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering from ITESM, an MBA from Kellogg School of Management, and a Master of Engineering Management from McCormick University.

He currently lives in Santa Monica, CA with his wife Tania and his son Sergio and enjoys the outdoors by running and cycling!
